Sinopse: A história é situada na cidade fictícia de Storybrook, no interior do Maine, onde os habitantes são como personagens de contos de fada. Eles vivem sob o domínio da prefeita Regina, que representa a Rainha Má. O principal objetivo de Regina é destruir a Irmã Mary Margaret, que representa a Branca de Neve. Esta, após ser salva por seu ‘Príncipe Encantado’, decide revidar utilizando as mesmas armas. Assim, ela contrata Rumplestiltskin, um especialista em magia negra.

 

Enquanto isso, Henry, o filho adotivo de Regina, tenta localizar Anna, sua mãe biológica, para que juntos possam anular o feitiço que a Prefeita lançou sobre os habitantes de Storybrook. No elenco também está Raphael Sbarge, como Jiminy Cricket, um morador excêntrico.
